Shooting Gallery were: Andy McCoy - Guitar, Billy G Bang - Vocals, Dave Tregunna - Bass and Paul Garisto - Drums. Formed in 1991, they released an eponymously titled album in 1992, as well as three promo singles, and had a track on the Soundtrack to the film 'Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man'. A Four minute promo for 'House of Ecstasy' was also filmed. Jo Almeida (ex - Dogs D'Amour) joined them on second guitar for their live outings, and they managed to play around the world, including a tour supporting Kiss. Popular
mythology has it that several members of the band had drug problems, and
given that Andy McCoy had cleaned himself up by
this stage, it didn't seem the band would add longevity to their game
plan, so the band effectively split after a year or so together, although
Andy did keep the name, and together with Dan Lagerstedt on Bass formed
a new band that effectively transmogrified into Live Ammo. |
